In Dublin, the capital of Ireland, the ventilation system at Bloomfield hospital is being modernized, which includes the installation of Blauberg energy-efficient ventilation equipment with heat recovery.
The project involves the installation of modern air handling systems for various areas of the medical facility. The main goal of the modernization is to improve indoor air quality, create comfortable conditions for staff and visitors, and enhance the building’s energy efficiency.

The project is being implemented in collaboration with our partner in Ireland – SODAC Distribution Ltd – which supplied the site with Blauberg Komfort EC DBE suspended heat recovery units. These units maintain balanced ventilation and are equipped with highly efficient (up to 90%) heat exchangers that recover thermal energy from the exhaust air so it can be reused.

The equipment is fitted with EC fans, high-efficiency filters, and an integrated control system, ensuring reliable and stable operation in a medical facility where air quality and system uptime are subject to particularly high standards.

The Blauberg Komfort EC DBE units have air flow of up to 4,300 m3/h and are responsible for ventilating the staff dining area, classrooms, meeting rooms, conference rooms, and other spaces.

In addition, as part of the modernization, Blauberg inline fans are being installed throughout the building to operate separate air handling systems in various functional areas of the hospital.
