In the small municipality of Kirchberg in northeast Munich, specialists from the installation company Strohmaier GmbH installed eight Blauberg CIVIC EC DB 1000 S21 decentralized suspended ventilation units.
“More fresh air!” – that should be the motto of every modern school. After all, the fresher and cleaner the air in the classroom, the better the children feel and the better they can take in new information.

Thanks to the CIVIC EC DB 1000 S21 air handling units, the municipal school in Kirchberg now always enjoys a comfortable indoor climate. These units are suspended under the ceiling, so they do not take up any useful space and their quiet operation does not attract attention. All the units have high air flow (up to 1000 m³/h) and are equipped with energy-efficient EC motors and carbon dioxide sensors.

The main advantage of the CIVIC EC DB 1000 S21 is the use of a polystyrene counterflow heat exchanger with a high heat recovery efficiency (up to 93%) and the feature to control the unit via a smartphone app.

CIVIC EC DB units are designed for decentralized ventilation of schools, offices, and other social and commercial spaces. They are perfect for providing reliable and efficient ventilation in new and renovated buildings and do not require ductwork.
